Based in Europe, Blackwall is a leading force in cybersecurity, specializing in advanced bot mitigation and web application security. Formerly known as BotGuard, we protect online businesses from automated threats like scraping, credential stuffing, application DDoS, and more. We're on a mission to make the internet safer for legitimate users and businesses.

As a Solutions Architect , you will be part of our Architects team, responsible for designing and managing our SaaS infrastructure and customer solutions. Your expertise will drive improvements, deployment, operation, and integration of our security software products.

This role spans the design of our global SaaS platform, creating solutions for customer and partner integrations, leading Proof of Concepts (PoCs), and advising customers on architecture, technology, network security, and aligning these with viable business models.

You will take ownership of solution design costs and budgets, provide guidance to customers, explain complex technical concepts to partners, and deliver technical documentation. Staying abreast of industry trends and advancements will position you as a trusted advisor both internally and externally.

This role is primarily individual-contributor-focused but requires a strong team player with a proven track record in cybersecurity, ideally within the hosting industry, e-commerce, or cloud infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Integrate Blackwall architecture systems into client environments.
• Assess existing systems architecture and collaborate with development teams to recommend solutions or improvements.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and design, modify, and test technical solutions.
• Provide technical guidance to development teams and clients, addressing technical challenges and aligning solutions with business objectives.
• Communicate product development updates to stakeholders and engage with clients to understand their requirements, challenges, and needs.
• Analyze client systems to identify opportunities for Blackwall solutions to add value.
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase how Blackwall addresses client needs.
• Collaborate with sales teams to propose solutions, emphasizing technical details and business value.
• Deliver third-level technical support to partners, resolving queries, concerns, and technical issues.

Essential Skills & Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT as an Infrastructure Engineer, System Administrator, or similar role in the cybersecurity industry.
• Expertise in hosting, e-commerce, or cloud infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of the OSI model, firewalling, and web traffic management.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced start-up environment.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
• Self-motivated and thrives as both an independent contributor and a team player.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
