Join our Solutions Architect team

Our Team provides managed services and proactive and reactive support to our global customers. We utilize tools, process and knowledge to integrate and maintain Akamai security, media, and performance solutions for our clients. We collaborate to solve problems, innovate to provide creative solutions and work to continuously improve for our customers and our team.

Partner with our enterprise customers

As a Solutions Architect you will work with Akamai's customers to design and implement solutions that maximize ROI, reduce risk, and optimize their online initiatives. You will work closely our team to solve complex infrastructure, content delivery, and application performance challenges, always with a mind to our customer's business strategy.

As a Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for:

• Owning the design, test and go-live technical aspects to ensure delivery of web, media and security solutions
• Being a proactive technical consultant for our customers through delivering value with every engagement
• Acting as a trusted technical advisor to our strategic customers
• Delivering coaching and training to customers to ensure value and usability from our products
• Partnering with cross-functional teams to resolve issues that arise during customer implementations

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have hands on experience with web applications or an understanding of TCP/IP networks
• Be proficient in one or more web development languages, methodologies or architectures
• Demonstrate experience in a technical customer-facing role and a desire to deliver consulting services
• Have experience solving complex technical challenges with innovative solutions
• Display communication and presentation skills that allow you to articulate highly technical information in a concise manner
• Be fluent in Japanese and competency (reading/writing) English
