Shift: Friday to Tuesday (Wednesday and Thursday are scheduled days off)

Hours:

• Sunday: 9:00 am to 5:30 pm (8 hours per day with 30 minute lunch break)
• Monday: 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm
• Tuesday: 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm
• Wednesday: Regular day off
• Thursday: Regular day off
• Friday: 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm
• Saturday: 10:00 am to 2:00 pm

Wage: As per collective agreement (Current starting rate is $22.94/hour. Top rate after 4 years is $29.23)

 

 

Description

The PM Sorter sorts and separates freight by destination, weight, size, and shape to meet client delivery schedules.

Hours of work: Friday, Monday, Tuesday 4:00PM - 7:00PM, Saturday 10:00AM – 2:00PM, Sunday 9:00AM – 5:30PM, 21 Hours per week

Wage: $22.94 per hour. Top Rate is $29.23 as per collective agreement. 

Location: 9325B 200th St, Langley BC

Responsibilities

Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor and from conveyor into curbside trucks
Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load-out
Load freight into linehaul / cube truck or trailer
Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles
Manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items
Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted packaged mail or packages and mail marked for priority or weekend delivery.
