Our Toronto Location:

Amidst the timeless charm of Toronto’s Fashion District, AIRE finds its home in a historic Edwardian Classicism building, once the office and warehouse of the Copp Clark publishing company. Built in 1912 and later designated a heritage site, its original wood structure and towering pillars remain, preserving the character of its storied past that once held the art of printing and now embraces the art of relaxation.

Honoring its literary and industrial past, the space is adorned with vintage books, printing presses which are subtle echoes of its history. AIRE Toronto offers a unique experience with a dry sauna and a Palestra, an indoor/outdoor bath area seamlessly connected to the interior through two jet baths, creating a tranquil escape where past and present merge in perfect harmony.

The Role:

As the Spa Attendant Manager, you will lead the Spa Attendant team, conveying the principles of excellence in the AIRE Service, inspiring continuous improvement in their area, and developing the skills of their team, complying with the company's protocols and values.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Experience

  • Oversee and ensure a suitable environment and atmosphere for the development of treatments, following AIRE guidelines and style book, ensuring all team members are properly trained.
  • Responsible for evaluating the compliance of protocols and standards of the Spa Attendant team.
  • Responsible for detecting and addressing any issues or particular situations that could affect AIRE customers' experience.
  • Ensure the correct implementation of new company protocols, experiences and/or processes.

Management

  • Ensure that the daily briefing is carried out by the Spa Attendant team, along with the rest of the operational departments, indicating the relevant aspects of the day: VIP customers, maintenance incidents that affect the operation, groups, etc.
  • Supervise the inventory of the different products in the area.
  • Perform, on a daily and weekly basis, the report of incidents, improvements, and facts of interest and report it to Management.

People Management

  • Responsible for hiring, training, and developing the team in charge.
  • Provide individual feedback to the team members in charge about their performance, proposing training and other measures for their development and improvement.
  • Responsible for generating work dynamics in the team in charge, which promotes teamwork and respect and continuous improvement of AIRE standards.
  • Plan and supervise the work of the team in charge.
  • Perform and plan the schedule of the employees in charge: work shifts, holidays, callouts, and night work.
  • Design the annual training plan for the employees in charge.

Who You Are:

  • 3 years of experience providing direct customer service.
  • 2 years leading a team within the hospitality, fitness, or wellness industry.
  • Experience in a luxury business and/or spa, preferred.
  • Experience with onboarding and training new hires.
  • Experience with team building.
  • Experience working with booking/reservation systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Punctual, reliable, and flexible with scheduling according to business needs.
  • Organized and capable of following detailed instructions.
  • Being bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus.
