DEPARTMENT: Nursing - Administration

ANTICIPATED START DATE: 12 Aug 2024

BARGAINING UNIT: CUPE

JOB TYPE: Permanent part-time

SCHEDULE: Day, Weekend, Rotation, 8 and 12-hour shifts. Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: Bilingual essential

JOB SUMMARY:

Coordinates the staffing activities for nursing units.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or general education diploma (GED), plus an additional administrative support program or course from six months to one year in length, or equivalent;

• Two years' previous experience required;

• Good knowledge of Word and Excel;

• Knowledge of other software programs currently used within the Network;

• General knowledge of the collective bargaining agreements in force in the nursing field;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;

• Physical ability to perform the assigned work;
• Good work history (performance and attendance);
• Adherence to professional ethical principles, the Network's management philosophy, and organizational values;
• Compliance with the rules of confidentiality set by Vitalité Health Network.
