Job Description

​​​​​​​ We’re looking for a part-time Sterilization Technician/Dental Assistant to join our oral surgery team. This role offers flexible scheduling (3 days a week, Monday to Friday) with no evenings or weekends. You’ll manage the decontamination, inspection, assembly, packaging, and sterilization of medical instruments. Travel between our Milton, Burlington, Oakville, and Mississauga clinics is required, with varying clinic sizes and staff numbers. Schedule:

• 3 days per week (must be available any day Monday through Friday)
• 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
• No evenings, no weekends

Compensation:

• $19.53/hour - Unionized workplace with pay rates outlined in a Collective Agreement (UFCW)
• Group health benefits, paid sick days, personal days, and paid parking

Requirements:

• A "Medical Device Reprocessing Certificate" is an asset but not required
• Knowledge of reprocessing in dental practice settings as per Ontario Public Health standards
• Ability to drive to all 5 clinic locations (Milton, Burlington, Oakville, Mississauga)
• Available to work any day Monday to Friday, up to 3 days per week
• Completion of Public Health IPAC Reprocessing courses
