Our client is a dynamic and professional Australian wealth management firm providing comprehensive taxation services to clients across various industries. We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Tax Accountant to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert taxation services to clients, ensuring compliance with Australian tax regulations.
Perform manual bookkeeping, including debits and credits.
Prepare accurate and comprehensive annual financial statements.
Prepare income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, and companies.
Utilize Xero for bookkeeping and accounting tasks.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a professional services firm providing taxation services.
Strong knowledge of manual bookkeeping, including debits and credits.
Proven ability to prepare annual financial statements.
Expertise in preparing income tax returns.
Proficiency in Xero is highly advantageous.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Availability to work at least 2 hours during Australian business hours (8 AM–6 PM AEST).
