Job Title: Warehouse Associate / Order Picker
Location: Scarborough, Ontario (Near Midland & Progress intersection)
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour
Position Overview:
We are seeking reliable Warehouse Associates to join our team in Scarborough, working at an automotive parts distribution center. This high-energy facility requires individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments, can stay on their feet for long periods, and are ready to efficiently pick, pack, and organize orders for shipping.
Key Responsibilities:
* Pick and pack orders while staying active throughout the shift.
* Ensure accuracy and attention to detail with every order.
* Adhere to order instructions, including item location and quantity.
* Follow company policies and safety procedures.
* Maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
* Properly prepare and package items for shipment.
Required Qualifications:
* Valid Driver's License (preferred)
* Criminal Background Check clearance
* 1-2 years of experience in warehouse order picking.
* Experience using RF scanners is a must.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced setting with minimal supervision.
* Team player with good interpersonal skills.
* Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
* Basic English communication skills, both written and spoken.
* Ability to lift items ranging from 20 to 50 lbs, based on the order.
* Comfortable using 5-step ladders.
Work Environment:
This is a distribution center setting where you'll be utilizing RF scanners to process orders.
