About The Position

Mammoth Agency is seeking a talented and experienced Web Developer & Designer with expertise in Webflow to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating visually stunning and user-friendly websites for our clients across different industries.

As a Web Developer & Designer, you combine the art of design with the art of programming. We need you to bridge the gap between graphic design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how a website looks as well as how it works.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and design concepts for websites
  • Source, select and organize information for inclusion and design the appearance, layout and flow of the website
  • Develop responsive designs that work seamlessly across different devices
  • Collaborate with clients and team members to gather requirements and develop project scopes
  • Conduct tests and perform security and quality controls
  • Develop website graphics, content, capacity and interactivity
  • Plan, design, write, modify, integrate and test website related code
  • Create and walk through through responsive Wireframes/Prototypes
  • Stay current with online trends and best practices
  • Design and develop websites in Webflow and other platforms with features such as scroll-triggered interactions, content management functionalities, and other
  • Integrate plugins and 3rd-party integrations to the websites such as booking and scheduling systems, payment processors and so on.
  • Experience working with APIs and JS libraries.
  • Edit and maintain existing websites in Webflow and similar platforms by applying content standards
  • Work on multiple projects and maintain timelines associated with each project
  • Research, develop, capture and own the "website deliverable process"
  • Identify process gaps and propose new approaches
  • Build out automations for funnel management

Requirements & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma or college program in computer science, web design, graphic design, or related field (preferred)
  • Proven experience as a Web Developer and Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing Webflow expertise
  • In-depth knowledge of Webflow and its features
  • Strong CSS and HTML knowledge (Javascript and PHP are an asset)
  • Strong background in Adobe Suite & Figma
  • Knowledge with cross-browser, cross-platform, and design constraints on the Web
  • Experience in programming languages such as HTML, CSS, PHP, Liquid, SCSS/SASS and JavaScript
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Knowledge of design methodologies associated with Graphic design, UI/UX design
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines
  • Proficiency in other web design CMS platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, Wix, SquareSpace, BigCommerce, Editor X an asset
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to take art direction and critique
  • Understanding of typography and design
  • A constant desire to grow, learn, and explore new things
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
  • A minimum of 2+ years of similar experience within a creative agency
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as a Webflow designer / developer
  • Canadian Citizen or permanent resident
  • We may consider a remote position for the right fit
