We are seeking to fill a co-op position in our Accounting Department located in Richmond Hill, ON for a period of 12 months starting in June 2025.

You will be responsible for a variety of daily accounting transactions and account reconciliations, some of which include the following:

• Preparation of bank and other general ledger account reconciliations related to the retail finance and insurance lines of business and investigation of reconciling items
• Involvement in the month-end close procedures
• Support in local and regional reporting requirements
• Assisting in special projects and research
• Involvement in external and internal audit engagements
• Ad-hoc requests

Qualifications:

• excellent verbal/written communication skills
• strong analytical skills and attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• We are looking for someone with high attention to detail, an enthusiastic attitude and a passion for learning.
• Any knowledge in the use of accounting software and Crystal Reporting would be an asset.
• Prior experience with preparing and analyzing account reconciliations would also be an advantage.
