Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and creative person with a desire to be a great cook. You understand the importance of ensuring that the food quality and presentation of all foods prepared meets the client's standards. You will be given the opportunity to learn and be creative working with one of the best culinary teams in the Region.

Job description:

  • Able to follow specific cooking procedures, pastry and baking methods or instructions as set by the Head Chef, Sous Chef.
  • Responsible for compliance to food safety plan and culinary plan as well as company policies and standards. Ensuring high standards are met daily.
  • Enjoying being creative, bringing new ideas and trying new techniques.
  • Responsible for working in a clean, sanitary, and safe area, taking pride in cleanliness.
  • Be a team player; respectful of others and equipment.
  • Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
  • Hiring for our Summer Season (Jun-Sep) with continued employment into our Winter season.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • A Strong background in the culinary field with interest in growing as a chef.
  • Knowledge of culinary terminology, techniques and execution is an asset
  • Must be reliable, organized and show initiative.
  • Culinary school diploma or trade certificate an asset
  • Food safe certificate an asset
  • Must have a good alarm clock
