Job Description

We're seeking an experienced electronic soldering and assembly person to join our client's small, dynamic team in Cornwall, Ontario.

What We Offer:  

• Location: Cornwall, Ontario
• Salary: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour based on experience
• Job Type/Shift : Monday to Friday – 8.00 am – 4.30 pm
• Benefits:  Comprehensive Health and Dental benefits

What You'll Do:  

• Perform hand soldering duties for PCB boards and components
• Build electronic and mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies according to drawings.
• Work on ‘first piece’ assemblies originating from new designs.
• Assist with inspection when required.
• Ensure accuracy of assembly, measured by rejection reports, working in accordance with Workmanship Standard Operating Procedures.

What We're Looking For:  

• High school diploma or equivalent. 
• Must have manual dexterity, and be able to read and understand written instructions, as well as technical drawings and parts lists.
• Soldering skills are required.  
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Communication – Provides and receives information clearly and effectively.
• Ensures accuracy and quality – ensures that work is done correctly, completely, consistently and to required standards.
• Ability to learn and multi-task across other areas of the organization, as well as flexibility to work in other parts of the organization.
• Accountable for actions.
• Operates with integrity.
