DESCRIPTION

Amazon is looking to hire an experienced, innovative, hands-on, and customer-obsessed Field and Design Engineer that can drive expansion in our Last Mile Delivery network. As a member of the Japan Amazon Logistics Engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the physical launch of SSD and physical modifications to existing SSD stations.

You will own the design, planning and implement the construction milestones and budget for new launch site and existing site modification with coordination of external and internal stakeholders, and will grow to lead the design, optimization of Delivery station layout, Material Handling Equipment and Construction project management of our existing and future Logistics network.

新規立ち上げサイトおよび既存サイトの改修における設計および建設マイルストーンと予算の計画立案と遂行を担当し、外部および内部のステークホルダーとの調整を行います。また、既存および将来のロジスティクスネットワークにおけるデリバリーステーションのレイアウト設計・最適化、物流機器、および建設プロジェクト管理をリードする役割へと成長していただきます。

Key job responsibilities
- Project management of the new SSD launch leading the development of design, project milestones and budget estimation to secure the target launch schedule.

- Existing SSD infrastructure modification/upgrade project management to improve safety/productivity/capacity.

Detailed Responsibilities
- Layout design and feasibility study
- Project timeline/Budget estimation
- Project management of construction Cost/schedule/quality.
- Coordination with external and internal stakeholders
- Trouble shooting and problem solving

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of industrial engineer, operations engineer, manufacturing engineer, or project engineer in a manufacturing environment experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, management, or technology
- Business-level proficiency in speaking, listening, and writing in both Japanese and English.
