Job Description

A leading global FMCG company is seeking an Internal Audit Specialist to join its Japan team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a dynamic, creative industry while applying your professional skills in internal control and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct internal audits and internal control evaluations
Perform risk analysis and assessments
Support planning and implementation of business process improvements, including interdepartmental coordination and post-implementation monitoring
Prepare audit documentation and reports in line with internal standards
Requirements:
Practical experience in internal audit, or relevant experience in accounting, legal, or compliance
Strong interest in internal audit and a proactive learning mindset
Fluency in Japanese and basic to low business-level English (verbal and written communication with global teams)
Strong logical thinking and communication skills

Nice to Have:
Certifications such as CPA, CIA
Experience in the retail industry
Strong documentation and reporting skills

Work Style:
Almost fully remote (occasional office visits may be required)
