Internal Audit Compliance Manager - Financial Services

A leading organization in the financial services industry is seeking an experienced professional to support internal audit activities related to compliance. The position involves working closely under the supervision of the Head of Internal Audit and focuses on thematic audits tied to legal and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct compliance-themed internal audits, focusing on areas including:

  • Legal compliance

  • Disclosure practices

  • Whistleblowing procedures

  • Internal fraud risk

  • Anti-Money Laundering (AML)

  • Information exchange with parent company

• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to assess current compliance practices and recommend improvements

• Document audit findings and support remediation tracking

• Utilize digital platforms for audit work and collaboration, in a fully paperless environment

Requirements:

• Experience and knowledge in compliance within the financial services industry

• Strong IT literacy, including familiarity with cloud-based platforms (Google Workspace)

• Ability to work effectively in a remote, digital-first environment

• Hands-on experience supporting internal audit functions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with companies listed on NASDAQ

• Knowledge of AML regulations and compliance practices

• Prior experience in internal audit

• Familiarity with Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc.)

Language Requirement:

• Japanese only (no English required)

Location: Tokyo

Hourly Rate: JPY 9,000
