Local Delivery Driver - Class AZ/DZ CDL

We’re looking for self-sufficient, motivated CDL Driver for our Kitchener location at 2165 Shirley Drive who want to help us expand our fast-growing business.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled deliveries and pickups
• Load and unload materials
• Match shipments to sales invoices
• Use Samsara technology to ensure compliance, safety, efficiency and customer service
• Operate truck safely
• Ensure load securement

Requirements

• Passionate about great service & teamwork
• Dedicated to safety, on and off the road
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Class DZ/AZ Driver’s License with driver’s abstract
• Inspect vehicle daily as per Highway Traffic Act
• Maintain clean equipment and monitor maintenance requirements
• Manual Transmission experience required
• Knowledge and competency in flat deck load securement
• Knowledge in legal truck weights and weight displacement
• Physically able to complete job tasks such as climbing ladders, pulling and throwing tarps, lifting up to 100 lbs.
• Pride in being on time, self-sufficient, and able to provide knowledgeable, excellent customer service
