Job Summary

We are seeking a Market Analyst to ensure accurate and reliable financial oversight for our Market Operation Korea and Japan, focusing on enhancing financial reporting, supporting budgeting and forecasting, providing essential financial guidance to the local team, and actively supporting the books closing process leading to better quality of site financials in the area of efficiency.

What you will do

As our new market analyst you will :

• General Controlling:
  • Update and monitor financial reports.
  • Conduct analyses of key profit and loss categories.
  • Assist the Business Controller with financial data interpretation.
  • Collaborate with finance professionals and associated business partners to provide insights.
  • price implementation in the system (SAP)
• Books Closing: 
  • Support the monthly books closing process.
  • Ensure accurate recognition of project sales and costs.
  • Verify costing data for completeness and accuracy.
  • Reconcile intercompany data for internal reporting alignment. 
• Budgeting/Forecasting:
  • Coordinate the annual budget process, year-end forecasts, group reporting, statutory pro-forma, and cash flow forecasts.
  • Gather financial inputs from various stakeholders.
  • Prepare budget and forecast reports.
  • Analyze variances between actual and budget/forecast figures.

We believe you have

• University degree in finance or business with a focus on data analytics (or equivalent professional experience).
• Up to 3 years of experience in financial reporting and controlling.
• accounting background is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Experience with advanced data tools and AI tools is an asset
• Highly motivated and ready to take on new challenges.
• Self-driven and able to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team.
• Open-minded and ready to challenge status quo and bringing new ideas.
• Organized with strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrates commitment and trustworthiness.
• Japanese language capabilities at Native level and English language capabilities at Business level.
