What is the opportunity?

You will be a Product Specialist mainly for fixed income products including private debt. 

What will you do?

• Prepare regular/ad hoc reports/data and sales materials including presentations and RFPs.
• Visit both prospected and existing clients and explan RBCGAM, investment strategies and performances.
• Translate reports provided in English (English to Japanese) and attend client meetings with portfolio manager for interpreting.
• Prepare market comments and response inquries from clients.
• Monitor market movements via Bloomberg and other vendors.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• Good knowledge of financial products and markets, especially in fixed income products and alternatives.
• Experience working in the asset management industry.
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills, in both Japanese and English languages.
• Strong with simple mathematics, accuracy and customer focus.
• Willingness to try new things.
• Proven ability to work well at team and firm-wide level.
• Ability to work well under pressure and to prioritise work where required.
• Confident and competent user of Microsoft products including Word, Excel PowerPoint and Outlook.

Nice-to-have

• 3-5 years experience as product specialist.
• Strong knowledge on private debt markets.
• CFA/CMA
