TE Connectivity's Product Pricing Teams determine the price of new and existing products by evaluating cost, marketplace, competitor data, economic conditions, volume, and quality of the product, as well as market positioning.
The Product Pricing Analyst is responsible for the successful analysis of, negotiation of and approval of regional special price requests, RFQ’s and pricing proposals received from Channel Distribution partners and direct customers.
Be the main contact person on all Channel price requests, RFQ’s and proposals. Ownership and accountability for regional pricing in support of business objectives while utilizing data to conduct various pricing analysis to support the Asia Pacific pricing team, the Sales and PM organizations to serve the business needs.
• Analyze and process special price requests, quotations, and proposals from both channel and direct customers for multiple product lines
• Participate in global / regional pricing initiatives to streamline pricing effectiveness
• Improve price request response time and reduce responsiveness variation
• Develop reports and drive actions to find pricing optimization opportunities
• Utilizing and giving suggested enhancements to reports such as low margin tracking report, win/loss performance
• Collaborate and interact regularly with other Pricing team members, Sales, Product Management and Customer Care
• Support projects and any other product / pricing activities
• Proactively apply TEOA principles to continuously improve financial and other associated processes
Education Background
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Analytics, or related field from an accredited university (MBA preferred)
Experience:Must to Have
• 2years+ experience in a pricing role in a large organization with exposure to both commercial and manufacturing environments.
• Experience in Excel, SAP, data management and data visualization tools (Power BI / Tableau will be advantageous)
• Strong knowledge of Excel and the ability to manipulate large amounts of data.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Critical thinker and strong financial, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Business English and Japanese language skill.
