Job Summary

We are not offering a relocation package. We will prioritize candidates who reside in or near Cobourg, Ontario . Must have previous manufacturing experience and be able to work rotating shifts.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our clients manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery, ensuring high-quality production standards are met. This role requires mechanical knowledge and a commitment to safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Reliable and detail oriented to perform hands on tasks
Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications and production goals
Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment
Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues as they arise during production.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Document production data and report any discrepancies or issues.
Work shift as required
Work overtime as required
Lift and carry as required
Complete other tasks as requested by supervisor

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Machine Operator or similar role in a manufacturing setting.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various machinery.
Familiarity with quality control processes and standards.
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
Experience with programming machinery is a plus.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
