Job Responsibilities:

  • Role requires to plan, execute and oversee IT projects for financial and consumer finance institutes. Job role requires to have good understanding of Project management and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Responsible for project planning and execution of project – large to small size project.
  • Responsible for overall tracking, scheduling, quality, cost management and reporting the same to stake holders.
  • Responsible for communication with different stakeholders – Business Users, Client IT and operation team, Vendor staff & development team.
  • Responsible for reviewing & working on documentation required during project life cycle and walkthrough with users / client.
  • Understand technical & functional aspect of project, responsible to secure various approvals during project life cycle from customer at different levels.
  • Creating and sharing project reports, weekly project status with various teams.
  • Responsible to gain insight of customer business and align with their roadmap to strengthen trust and long-lasting relationship.

Qualifications:

Mandatory

  • Work Experience in a Japanese company as a project Manager.
  • Very good Japanese communication, means japanese Native
  • Vendor Management
  • Software development life cycle management
  • Experience in managing projects (System/ Application development project)
  • 5-10% of English is also ok, we don’t need bilinguals in APLUS
  • Understanding of tech, cloud is better
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management (both PM / PL are ok).
  • Experienced of complete Software development life cycle & experience of executing large to medium size IT development projects.
  • Experienced in creating documentation, reviewing project artefacts and project deliverables.
  • Experienced working as a PM / PL in IT department in Japanese company, preferably financial company but it is not mandatory.
  • Background of development and understanding of technology is preferred and good to have.
  • Experience of migration legacy systems to newer platform is preferable.
  • Understanding of cloud platforms preferably AWS is good but not mandatory.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • Strong Japanese communication skill as the role demands communication at different level and with various stakeholders.
  • Project Management skills to manage project scope, timelines, resources, milestones, quality.
  • Process management and documentation using tools such as EXCEL, Word, Powerpoint etc.
  • Experience working with project manager, project lead as an PM / Engineer.
  • Experience of understanding and defining requirements in standard requirement document formats.
  • Knowledge of any programming language like C#, JAVA and Python is preferred.
  • Understanding of complete Software Development Lifecycle
  • Understanding of database, cloud platform is preferred.
  • Understanding of basic English language is good to have but not mandatory.

Langauge skills : Native Japanese Level(JLPT N) and Business Level English
