REGISTERED SOCIAL WORKER

We are looking for a Social Worker with experience in the fields of psycho-social rehabilitation and assessment, complex mental health, case management, neurorehabilitation, and/or chronic pain.

• You have a passion for working with adults, and open to exploring child, youth, family counselling to support clients through holistic rehabilitation
• You are a strong advocate for client-centred care in the development of short- and long-term care plans for all clients
• You have exemplary attention to detail and have strong written communication skills needed to prepare comprehensive reports to support your clients recovery goals
• You take a collaborative and comprehensive approach, ensuring that all areas of clients' health are taken into consideration to promote high quality of life
• You love taking on new challenges and are always looking for ways to improve and grow your practice

HOURS

Flexible scheduling options available; Client-dependent schedules 

RATE OF PAY
70% of billables (Pay varies with experience and file type)

Requirements:

• Registration in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers
• Masters Degree in Social Work is an asset
• Experience working with the MVA (Motor Vehicle Accident) system will be an asset
• Registration with the Order of Social Workers and Marriage and Family Therapists of Quebec is an asset
• Professional Liability Insurance
• Experience in providing counselling to people of all developmental ages - child, youth, young adults, and adults, as well as family counselling
• Valid drivers license and access to a vehicle
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team
• Computer skills (i.e. MS Word, Outlook)
• Bilingualism in a second language is a bonus, specifically French, Arabic, & Persian
