Job Description

The Business Analyst will support various cloud-based and business intelligence platforms by leading the analysis of business systems, conducting data and process modeling, and translating business needs into system requirements. This role plays a crucial part in supporting the expansion of analytics and data systems and ensuring the alignment of business objectives with technical solutions. Responsibilities include analyzing complex systems, modeling business rules and use cases, preparing technical documentation, and collaborating with both business and IT teams. This role demands a deep understanding of both business processes and IT solution development, with a focus on supporting initiatives involving healthcare data platforms and cloud-based services.

Responsibilities
•Lead and conduct business and system analysis to assess client needs and define solutions
•Translate business requirements into detailed technical documentation for development teams
•Conduct business modeling, process/data flow modeling, and logical data modeling
•Document use cases, screen specifications, business rules, and non-functional requirements
•Liaise between business users and IT teams to ensure accurate implementation of solutions
•Assist in requirements gathering, testing support, and validation of reports and interfaces
•Prepare deliverables and documentation to support both current and future system enhancements
•Support reporting and data analytics enhancements for assigned platforms

Qualifications
•10+ years of experience working with complex, mission-critical applications
•Proven experience in business analysis, system modeling, and documenting technical requirements
•Experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
•Strong familiarity with use case modeling, BPMN, conceptual/logical data modeling
•Knowledge of cloud-based solutions and Microsoft PowerApps platforms is an asset
•Strong consulting, analytical, and communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement
•Experience with data platforms such as SAS Viya and tools like Cognos and Microsoft Office 365
