Job Description
We are assisting one of our distribution clients in finding reliable individuals to join their team of hardworking workers. This role is a 2 - 3 months contract with a huge possibility for extension depending on performance
Please note that this work is physically demanding, especially in the current hot weather, and will be performed in collaboration with our staff.
Shift is day - Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
Rate is 18.50 - 19.hr
Start date: ASAP
Location - West end of Ottawa (Not bus friendly)

Responsibilities
This task involves labor-intensive manual offloading of an Asia-Pacific container,
Unpack materials and prepare them for skidding by removing the outer packaging boxes.
Neatly stack the empty boxes and place the exposed products on other skids with items weighing between 25 lbs and 140 lbs (team lift required for items over 40 lbs).
Warehouse clean up
Material handling, picking and packing needed materials
Qualifications
Must have experience working in a warehouse facility
Has no issues with physical work- lifting heavy, standing for long periods, walking
Experience using equipment - forklift, pallet jack, scanners are a definite asset
Must be able to work with a tight knit team
Good communication skills
