Job Summary

W e are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable  Warehouse Material Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for executing floor and shipping activities in a warehousing operation. The warehouse supports industrial operations by stocking strategic spare parts and operating consumables, ensuring that all material handling and shipping tasks are carried out efficiently and safely.

Job Description

• Unload shipments and inspect for damage and content accuracy.
• Record damages and discrepancies on the bill of lading and packing list.
• Place rejected shipments in the designated quarantine area.
• Ensure materials are properly labeled.
• Review and verify calibration certificates as applicable, and attach to materials.
• Stock accepted shipments in the warehouse.
• Process electronic receipts of materials and ensure proper documentation.
• Receive and review work orders from the National Warehouse Customer Service Representative or Administrator.
• Pick and stage materials specified in the work order for shipping.
• Mark work orders for picked or back-ordered materials.
• Package materials for shipment and generate shipping labels.
• Load outgoing shipments.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the warehouse.
• Manage material quarantine areas and processes.
• Assist with cycle counts and annual physical inventory.
• Execute special projects as needed.
• Identify and implement savings opportunities related to inventory purchases and shipments.

Skills Required

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to operate a forklift safely.
• Occasionally work at heights of 15 to 20 feet (scissor lift).

Education

• Highschool diploma or GED

Pay Rate

• $20 per hour

Additional Requirements

• S hi ft: Mon-Fri, 07:30am to 04:30pm (Sometimes on the weekends due to emergency calls)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in managing inventory or assets in a warehouse setting.
