[Backend Engineer] Seeking a core member to support the growth of our enterprise SaaS product!
We are a leading data intelligence platform that is being adopted by major Japanese companies one after another. We are looking for a Backend Engineer to support the quality of our SaaS product, which is the core of our SaaS product, and help it evolve further.

Although we are a fast-growing startup, we have already developed and provided products that have been implemented by many enterprise customers, including prime listed companies. This is an ideal field for those who want to focus on "quality" as an engineer, and for those who seek both the speed and professionalism of a startup.

The Role

• Development and improvement of back-end functionality with a focus on Golang
• Localization proposals and implementation for an intuitive and easy-to-understand UX for Japanese users
• Collaboration with other teams (front-end, PM, etc.) and technical documentation
• Active participation in technical discussions and improvement proposals within the team
• Implementation and review with high code quality in mind

• Frontend: React, Remix, Tailwind CSS
• Backend: Go (Goa framework)
• Infrastructure: AWS, Vercel, Terraform Cloud
• Authentication: Auth0, Cognito
• Database: DynamoDB, OpenSearch
• CI/CD: GitHub
• Communication: Slack, Linear, Notion

Required Skills

• Back-end development experience: 3+ years (working experience with Golang a plus)
• Experience working in English (including speaking, reading and writing): 2+ years

Skills and Experience

• Implementation of Japanese search functionality (e.g. Elasticsearch)
• Knowledge of data management, analysis, and engineering
• Experience developing and operating BtoB SaaS products
• Experience working in a startup environment
• Computer science degree

Location

• In principle, remote work (in Japan)
